Detoxing is not about starvation.
It’s not about calorie counting and saying it’s not about just juicing and empty in your gut. There are a lot of detox programs out there that may be born on that premise, but a true medical detoxification has to do with:
- scrubbing up your liver,
- supporting the natural detoxification process in your body and
- allowing your body to get rid of toxins and get rid of things that it does not like that you may be reacting to and finally getting them out of your body.
Or starving yourself… or going through some sort of a fast. And that’s not true either.
